Alyssa Pfluger has been working as a student aid for the Admission Office at Valparaiso University since the start of the fall semester.  I’ve been impressed by Alyssa’s work ethic, and her willingness to take on any task.  At times we are extremely busy, and she is able to adjust to the fluctuating workload without a hitch.  She is fast and accurate in her work, and I can depend on her to get the job done. Alyssa will always come looking for new assignments when her work is finished, which is very helpful when we are working on a mailing deadline.   Working with students can be challenging, but Alyssa demonstrates an understanding and willingness beyond her years.

As well as having strong office skills, Alyssa is easy to get along with on a personal level.  She is always cheerful and willing to learn.  Her time management skills are excellent; she reports to work on time and makes sure to let us know of any classroom/work conflicts well ahead of time.  Alyssa also gets along well with her fellow student workers without over-socializing.

I feel Alyssa will be a valuable asset to any workplace.  Her adaptability, personality and intelligence have made her invaluable in our office, and I am confident she will be successful as she continues to broaden her work experience.

Sincerely,

Cathy Loosemore
